This truly stunning Art Deco stove by Deville is
called "Marianna". We've managed to date it to sometime
in the mid 1930's . What a fabulous Deco style this
stove has! It is in a beautiful minimalist grey majolica
enamel. The enamel and the chrome work are in excellent
condition.
Lift the enamel lid and there's a hotplate that can be
used for cooking. Logs of up to 40cms (15¾”) are loaded
through the side door, and coal can be loaded from the
top.
This "Marianna" is in fantastic condition , and the
colour is really well defined throughout. The firebox
has been replaced with a double thick stainless steel
version.
This is the log stove version. Lift the enamel lid and
there's a hotplate that can be used for cooking. Logs of
up to 40cms (15¾”) are loaded through the side door. The
colour is really well defined throughout. The firebox,
has had the firebrick replaced with a modern fibreboard.
The stove is therefore in excellent working condition
and ready to use.
Please note that the brightwork has been re bright
nickelled , and the mica windows have been replaced with
a top quality mica which will give years of service.
This is indeed a rare opportunity for Art Deco lovers to
own a stunning, living breathing, original piece of
furniture, in a highly unusual colour, that can heat
your home and keep your food warm at the same
time!
